Seeing your course from a student perspective can give you great insights as you’re putting your course together. The best way to view your course as a student is to Impersonate Arnie Aardvark.
Arnie is a fictional student in every course at PPSC. This allows Arnie to do every course activity and even receive grades in your course. To impersonate Aarnie, go to the Classlist Tab. Arnie should be the first alphabetically, both by last name and and first name. Click the down arrow next to his name and click Impersonate.
You will get a confirmation message to ensure you really want to impersonate Arnie. Click Yes. Notice, the name in the upper right is no longer yours, but it’s Arnie’s. You can now do everything a student could do, including look at Grades and take Quizzes. When you are done, click Arnie’s name in the top right corner and then click the the x next to “Impersonating: AA. Arnie Aardvark.
Then, you are back to being your self as the Instructor of the course.
