Sometimes we may need to remove something from a Module under Content. Please note that there are two options when removing something from a Module: either you can not remove the actual assignment/discussion/quiz, or you can delete the item itself (so that it also no longer appears under its respective tab either).
Let’s start by looking to remove a single item. Find the link you would like to remove and click the dropdown next to it and then “Delete Topic”:

This will bring up the prompt asking if you want to keep the item in the course and simply remove it from Content (1st option), or if you want to remove the item from the course entirely (2nd option). If you are ever unsure of which to pick, choose option 1. That way, the item isn’t lost and you can add it back later. When you are done, click Delete.

Sometimes, you may want to delete an entire module. To do this, select the module you’re wanting to remove, click the ⌄ next to the module title, and choose Delete Module:

You’ll then be presented with a prompt similar to the one we mentioned above, giving you two options, to simply remove the material from appearing in Content (option 1) or remove the material from the course. Be more careful here as deleting the module will potentially remove all content within that module from the course (if you choose option 2).
