Sometimes instructors want to download all of the student submission files and review them offline. This can be done in D2L pretty easily.
First, navigate to your course and click on Assignments. Click on the title of the assignment to open the student submissions.
To download all the student submissions, click on the checkbox next to Last Name, First Name in the table header. Then, click on Download.
This will result in a pop-up window stating that “Your zip file is being prepared”. Click on Download when the file has been completed.
From here, depending on your browser, it may ask you where to store the file or it may simply download it to the Downloads folder. Either way, you now have all of the files in one .zip file.
One last note, the files inside the .zip file are labeled with the name of the student, but not at the beginning of the file. So, you may have to expand your window to see the names of the students.
