If you’ve included the link to your Simple Syllabus in your D2L shell, you can track which students have read your syllabus, how much of the syllabus they’ve read, how many times they’ve accessed your syllabus, and more!
To view this report, navigate to the D2L module where you’ve placed your Simple Syllabus, and click on the link to your Simple Syllabus.
At the top of the Simple Syllabus window, you can see the number of students who have viewed the Simple Syllabus. Click View Report to see more details.

A window will pop up showing a chart with students’ names, how often they’ve viewed the syllabus (count), the percentage of the syllabus they’ve read, and when they last viewed the syllabus. The report can also be exported to a csv file by clicking the “Export” button.

Note: Upon reaching the end of a Simple Syllabus, students will have the option to click a button acknowledging that they have read the syllabus. You will see a green checklist icon in the Percent Read column if the student has clicked this acknowledgement button.
