Colorado Online Handbook
Our updated Colorado Online Handbook is now live and ready for you in the knowledge base! It’s packed with helpful resources to set you up for success.
Spring Course Shells
Mark your calendar: spring course shells will be ready for assigned faculty starting Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
This spring, we’re thrilled to be offering approximately 819 online sections:
- 592 home college sections
- 227 pooled teaching sections
Colorado Online Split Meeting
If you’re teaching with Colorado Online, the split meeting will occur on Wednesday, January 8, 2025. This meeting will make final decisions on cancellations and other important updates for the 15-week semester and the early 7-week semester.
Essentials of Teaching and Learning Boot Camp
Have you heard? Registration for the Spring 2025 Essentials of Teaching and Learning Boot Camp opens Monday, December 2, 2024, at 8:00 AM and closes Thursday, January 2, 2025, at 4:00 PM.
This is the perfect opportunity to check off your requirements for teaching distance education courses at Pikes Peak State College. It’s also a fantastic boost for CTE credentialing!

PAGE Program for Part-Time Instructors
Are you a part-time instructor in the Promoting Advancement and Growth for Educators (PAGE) Programthrough CETL? Great news! You’ll earn 10 PD units when you complete the boot camp with an 85% or higher and submit the reflection and tracking form.
PAGE registration happens twice a year:
- Opens: Monday of Professional Development Week (PDW) (August and January)
- Closes: Student drop date for the semester

Yuja Panorama
Yuja Panorama is a Digital Accessibility tool coming to D2L in Spring 2025. YuJa Panorama automatically scans your course content, announcements, assignments, and more, providing recommendations to improve accessibility. This tool helps create a more equitable experience for all students.

Simple Syllabus Rollout Delayed
PPSC will pilot Simple Syllabus in Spring 2025, with plans to launch it across all courses by Summer or Fall 2025.
If you want an early look at Simple Syllabus, check out the training we did this Fall 2024 with CETL! Simple Syllabus offers a centralized, online syllabus template for your courses, automatically incorporating information from the Institutional Syllabus and Master Course Syllabi. Simple Syllabus also allows you to share your syllabus with students before the semester starts.
